The secret you know but don't practice
Valuable Lessons from Beeple, Guy Who Sold His NFT for $69 Million
Hi,
Last week I wrote an article about Beeple, which kind of got viral. It came on Google's first page without any SEO is shared thousands of times.
If you wish to read it, you can read it here, but I will share the crux of it for you today. It’s nothing you haven’t heard before, but I am sure nobody cares about it.
It’s about time.
Everything you want to happen will happen—only if you are willing to work silently on it for 10 years!!!!!
Before selling his NFT for $69 million, Beeple, aka Michael Winkelman, created art every day with a full-time job while raising kids. He’d been creating art in silence before he ever got noticed.
Forget about that one moment that’s going to change your life, don't lose hope, lay one brick after another, become so good at what you do that nobody can ignore you anymore.
That’s the only way to go up.
The 10,000 hours rule is another way people talk about it.
Spending 10 years of your life on something mean you’re serious about it, and you enjoy doing it so much that you haven’t given up yet.
But the real question is
Can you do it for 10 years?
Let me know the answer by replying to this email if you’re comfortable :)
Lesson of the week
Be authentic. If you're not comfortable with your ideas, how will others?

Video of the week
I watched this rap battle with Satoshi Nakamoto and Hamilton and laughed my heart out. I wish our teachers thought us this way in school. I have already seen the video thrice, it’s so good, and anyone can understand it even if they’re not are about cryptocurrencies. The rap is bang on.

Song of the Week
The 70s and 80s music had so much wisdom in them. I discovered Harry Chapin last year, and I love his music. Cat's In The Cradle was on autoplay this week. It’s deep.
